With more than 17 years of experience, he became a professional balloon twister in 2009. His base is in Kanto (around Tokyo) area but he works extensively both at home and overseas. The fastest in Japan, his polished special technique called “Aerial Twist” and his magic-like stagecraft create a stylish show. His show combines his joy of making balloons and his exchange of thoughts with the audience with many unexpected twists. He maximises the appeal and pushes the limits of balloon twisting. His shows are widely enjoyed by children and adult audiences and his performance is praised as “the new dimension of balloon performance”. He is known as the “Balloon prince” or “Balloon magician” with his appearance and style and performs over 250 shows a year. All his balloon productions are created integrating his art and performance style. His balloon art repertoire consists of over 900 shapes, from basic animals to popular characters! His website “Balloon forest”, which shows how to make balloon shapes, is the most well-known balloon site nationally and the entrance to the balloon art world for many people in the world. He is known as one of the balloon twisting pioneer figures. A year after he became a professional balloon twister, he won three big balloon competitions; JBANConvention, QBAC and Twisters. He was the first person to achieve this remarkable accomplishment in Japan. He also won many awards at performance competitions. He also attracted a lot of attention in America, the home of balloon art. He was invited to New York in 2013 for his performance and in 2014, at Baruch College in New York, he wore Kimono in a part of his performance and achieved a great success. He also works as a performance artist at Tokyo Disney Resort IKSPIARI as well as at other various TV programs.

I am a proclaimed balloon modeller who lives in Mie prefecture. I was a magician originally but the balloons drew me into their fascinating world about 10 years ago. I have been working mainly as a balloon twister since then. I do not have great skills or knowledge but I will be grateful if I can learn many things and enjoy the time together with you.

Clown Kotora has started the performance at mini-show as a Clown in 1994. His performance consists of shows with amazing juggling, spectacular magic, fabulous balloon, etc. as a street performer and the audience also enjoy joining in the gorgeous performance. She is an elementary school teacher and she sticks to her belief-“ Arts and crafts helps our personality develop”.
She has been devoted to the education of the arts and crafts to tell her students about how interest it is.
When a balloon artist visited her school as a guest, she learned the balloon art for the first time.
Her hobbies are visiting museums and having delicious foods and her current dream is to visit museums in New York.
Her irreplaceable things are her two grandchildren and wine stored in her cellar.

In 1999 he appeared as a balloon performer on Good Morning America, a TN programme in the U.S. In 2002 two of his works were nominated for Best Balloon Creation at the Gala Award of a world’s premier festival for events Special Event held in Phoenix, AZ. In 2006 he was invited to Thailand Ballon Fest#1, the first balloon festival held in Thailand. He took the lead in the production of a 20ms high sculpture. “Japanese calligraphy to feel”
Japanese calligraphy artist, Hiromi Kochi
She was born in Hiroshima on March, 30th, 1980.
She started Japanese calligraphy when she was 10.
She decided to pursue her career in Japanese calligraphy while she was learning under a Japanese calligraphy artist, Koyo Tsuboi when she was a high school student.
She has been tirelessly doing her creative art activities to let her audience “feel the Japanese calligraphy “as well as read and write the letters. She wants her calligraphy to appeal to the feelings of her audience. She has been active in collaborating with various genre through her calligraphy. “futari (two people)” was an exhibition where she tried to fuse “Japanese calligraphy” with “fashion” by working together with a fashion designer, Irodori Ukon. In 2015, she gave a calligraphy performance as an opening act for Garyu’s 10th drum concert. Garyu is a drumming group that enjoys a lot of fan at home and overseas. Garyu fuses traditional arts of Japanese drum with edgy sound of western drum.

President of Komamegumi’s troupe
He performs as an actor and a coach of sword fight scenes mainly in Hiroshima.
After graduated from high school, he entered in Yoyogi Animation Gakuin and learnt basics of acting.
After graduated from Yoyogi Animation Gakuin, he joined a theoretical company of Yokohama. He started at the bottom of the company and learnt acting.
He returned to Hiroshima in 1999 and joined in “Taiyo’s troupe (Gekidan Taiyo)” as a starting member.
He started coaching sword fight scenes from the second performance of Taiyo’s troupe.
After the dissolution of Taiyo’s troupe, he has been performing as a free agent actor and a coach of sword fight scenes.
He started up Komamegumi’s troupe in 2007.
In 2008, he joined stunt management office in Tokyo to learn and train the basics of tate (sword fight) and action.
After returning to Hiroshima in 2009, he has been passionate about performing as an actor and a coach of sword fights.
In 2015, he performed a sword fight and a short play in the fun club event of Masayoshi Yamazaki, “ONE KNIGHT STAND in BOOGIE HOUSE”.

Vice President of Komamegumi’s troupe.
Motoko is fascinated by acting in her college days.
Having experienced in several theoretical companies, she started to write the scripts by herself while acting as an actress. She also directed the acts in the latter half.
In 2007, she started up Komamegumi’s troupe. She has been acting, writing scripts and directing most of the performance since then.
She aims at creating fundamental concept of iki (cool) world with the mixture of delicate performances that touch the audiences’ heartstrings and exciting vibrant acts.
The troupe’s performances are mainly jidaigeki (historical plays).
She has been performing on many events and shows. Recently, she has been performing Enbu, dance to the music with swords wearing kimono and ninja costumes.
This is her first time to participate in the balloon world.

She immerced herself in theatrical play when she was in a high school and started danse when she was 19 so as to improve her ability to express herself. She has been based in Hiroshima. She took part in many danse contests and had high profile as a girl hip hop danser that was very rare at that time. She learned Jazz and ballet, too. She is now active as a danse teacher and a choreographer introducing “Family danse” and “Kids' danse” to have families enjoyed. She has a reputation as a choreographer full of expression. She is active as a musical actor and joined a musical group “Chorus people” in 2000. She is also active in a theatrical group “Aterlier Campagne” which is based in Hiroshima now, and in a theatrical company “Shugetsu ☆ Sider” which consists of house wives mainly. In “Showa series” sponsered by “Tap in Hiroshima” that had a good reputation recently, she appeared in a work in which dansing and acting fused together. She has taken part in many local events aggressively and has been focusing on training future acters and dansers.

She has been involved in musicals organized by citizens since 1989 and been interested in the theatrical art.
While she performed on the stage, she started to help staff members with preparations for costumes and hair and makeup.
She found how interesting it was, and since then, she has been fascinated by it.
She has learned about the technique of costume, hair design, makeup, choreography and theatrical direction from each instructor, and has been active in the theatrical field as a costume, hair and makeup artist for ten years.

Yoshika Matsumoto In 1933, she graduated from Kyoto University of Art and Design, Department of Design. § While she was studying floral decoration and chromatics, she worked for a flower shop and an artificial flower design company. In 2000, she joined trainings of floral decoration in Germany and London, UK to improve her skill. In 2004, she renovated an old folk house into a flower arrangement school and cafe in Asaminami, Hiroshima City. She is currently working as an instructor for floral decoration course at Hiroshima Business College. Her work includes event and store displays, floral decorations at weddings and flower gifts making to order. She is a flower design instructor who has an official flower designer’s qualification by NFD (Nippon Flower Designer’s Association.)

Singer & everybody’s eternal brother : Kyo Kimura
Amazing animation voice singer: Rika Nikamoto
They are two singers and twist balloon artists based in Hiroshima. They twist balloons by singing during their show.
They attract a wide range of people. Their original songs attract good reviews too.
One of their original songs were used for an theme song of “Kuroro & Yumena,” which was a mascot of a famous produce or feature for Nasu, Kurotawara region in Tochigi prefecture.
Their Emcees are very great at entertaining the audience and they work as emcees frequently as well.
They started writing regularly for a quarterly magazine, “WakuwaKu.” They write about a parent-child interaction seriously but comically with their experiences as teachers.
